Our Education Centre objectives

To research, design, and deliver the best academic program and learning environment for the comprehensive education of learners affected by abuse.

To provide a safe, caring, therapeutic environment where learners affected by abuse trauma and social challenges can best heal, discover who they are, and thrive.

To disciple the learners into Christ like character, values, equip them with life skills so that they have a sense of mission, becoming positive influencers of change in their generation.

To train teachers with special skills and equip them with materials to deliver a special teaching program that strengthens the executive functions of children who were performing very poorly in school.

To facilitate the development of self-confidence, self-drive and motivation to learn, providing the learners with the academic foundation necessary for life-long learning, unveiling full potential, and competing successfully in a complex and fast-changing world.

To deliver an integrated learning space where girl survivors of abuse and other children can learn together as per the recommendations regarding special needs education.

To apply psychosocial support therapy and other social interventions in order to prepare the parents of the abuse survivors to receive them back in a safe and loving home when they are away from the ILONA education Centre.

To monitor individual learning progress for each learner and provide evidence of progress, objectively evaluating their response to the learning methodologies.
